Allambie Building Consultants provide independent, impartial building inspection reports for a range of building matters.

Our Managing Director Bruce Frizzell has over 30 years experience in the residential building industry, first in construction and most recently in inspection and consulting. Starting out as a carpenter, he then got his building license to help people realise their dream homes both through renovation and new construction.

Since 2015, Bruce has been working as a building consultant and expert witness. This involves inspecting properties, identifying defects and providing solutions for rectification in the form of defect and expert reports.

All our reports are undertaken in accordance with the Expert Witness Codes of Conduct and are prepared to be suitable for the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), Local, District and Supreme Court matters.

Having been involved in over 150 individual matters we have extensive experience providing expert advice and reports including appearing as a building expert at NCAT and local court.

About me

I have 30 years experience in the building industry and have been providing building consultancy services since 2015.  

During my career in construction, I have been involved in renovating houses from federation style to new homes, building in flood zones and high-risk bushfire zones in consultation with architects and/or directly with the clients. 

I am well versed in Australian Building Codes and Standards with a working knowledge of regulations and am committed to providing clients with practical problem-solving.
